| Menu of Beer |
| Cask Conditioned Ales - $8 for 20-ounce Imperial Pint and $5 for 10-ounce Half Imperial Pint
| The J. Clyde is the only place in Alabama to currently serve cask-conditioned ales with traditional British Beer Engines!
| This is beer as it would have been served before modern technologies of refrigeration and forced carbonation!
| Served at cellar temperature (50 - 55 F) with a beer engine in a traditional British Nonic Glass.
| A new cask is tapped each Friday and served until the last pint is pumped. Ask your server which cask conditioned ales are available now.
| We limit certain "HIGH GRAVITY" cask ales to 10-ounce glasses in the interest of the responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages.
| Please ask your server about LIMITED AVAILABILITY CASKS - WITH SPECIAL PRICING.
| Flights of Beer
| We also have flights of 5 beers. You choose the beers from our draught list; and
| we serve you 5 four-ounce steins.
| $6
| Each >6% ABV selection is an additional $2.
| Weekly Beer Specials
| Monday: All Draught Beers Greater than 6% ABV Are $5 (Limit two per customer)
| Tuesday and Thursday: All draught beers less than 6% ABV are half price.
| Glassware
| We take extra efforts to keep the correct glassware for each beer that we serve.
| Please help us by returning glassware to servers. Without the glassware, we can't serve the beer!
| We will sell you a glass from your favorite brewery, though! Glasses start at $5 each.
| We regret that we cannot offer a refund or replacement for beer served in good condition as determined by our trained managers and Cicerone. Please ask our staff for a sample of any draught beer or a description of any bottled beer.
| We update our menus weekly. We apologize in advance if your preference is out of stock.
| Amber, Pale, and Red Ales |
| |
| This style of beer is more focused on malts than hops. Colors will range from amber to deep red. Hops are used, but they are more balanced and subdued. Many have a mild fruity character. |

| This is a broad category. Dubbels are darker. Tripels are lighter and stronger. Quadrupels are even stronger and also dark. All use candy sugar in some portions with the darkness of the candy dictating the color of the beer typically. |
